Blogging in Florida

So...I wanted to see if blogging in Florida was any different than blogging in Indiana. I have to say the view is MUCH better. At home I look out the window and see houses and the street....your average Indiana neighborhood. Right now....I am looking out the sliding glass door, over the balcony and see beach and the ocean. I have my family sitting here watching TV and Danny sitting next to me playing his guitar. Braeden just laid down for a nap and I have to say.....life is good....God is good. I always admire God's creation...especially during sunsets and sunrises, but wow.....I must say, it just seems a little different on the ocean.

We are having a good time. Things here are the best. :) (Other than missing a couple friends, but....it's all good). Braeden is loving the beach and the pool. We built a sand turtle today and he thought that was pretty good. Later today Danny and I are going to take him to play putt-putt. He has never played so, that will be fun for him. It is going to be real hard to come back to Indiana. You know, there are some trips that you enjoy your time but when it is time to go, you are ready....this is not going to be one of those trips. *sigh*

Ok, I am guessing some of you are asking who Danny is. I met him on Christian Cafe about a month ago. He lives in Florida. At first I told him I would not talk to him because he lived in Florida and my life was good in Indiana and I didn't want to move. But to my surprise, his family lives in Indiana and he has been wanting to move to Indiana. So, I agreed to talk to him. At the time I started talking to him I was talking to this other guy named Doug (as a friend only). Danny had just told me that he was coming to Indiana for two weeks to visit his family and wanted to get together. After my last experience of meeting someone online I was a little nervous. I told him I didn't know and then told Doug all about it. Doug emailed me back and said "you aren't going to believe this but I think I know this guy"....and asked if his name was Danny. I was very shocked....actually I think my hands started shaking. LOL. They had gone to high school together and were friends. It was crazy. So, Danny and I ended up going out and we had a great time!!! Thing have been great ever since and we are still having a lot of fun growing together and getting to know each other. :) Things are wonderful. He just met my family for the first time while we are in Florida. I think Braeden thinks he has a new playmate. LOL It is going well. :)

So....we come back from FL on Wed. It will be very hard to leave Florida, and it will be hard to leave Danny. The next time we will probably see each other will most likely be in May, for Sarah's wedding. The distance will be hard. He is working on selling his place down here so he can move to Indiana. Please pray for that to happen quickly. Thanks!!! :)
