Braeden went FISHING....(or swimming?)

IN OUR AQUARIUM!!!! (a 10 gallon aquarium that has been in Braeden's room for over a year with NO problems!)

Ok....here's the story.

I was at work. On Tuesdays and Thursdays my mom keeps Braeden and on Monday, Wednesday and Friday my wonderful neighbor keeps him. So the events took place on a Wednesday. My neighbor had something to do so she left Braeden and her two year old little girl with my mom at my house. I was at work (THANK GOD) and in an addictions group with some ladies. My mom had called twice and so I texted her and told her that I was in group and would call her later. She texted back and stated I needed to call her NOW! My heart sank. I had never received a call/text like that before. I stepped out of group and called her back with my heart POUNDING and scared of what the news would be on the other line.

When she answered she was freaking out. She said that Braeden that the neighbor girl (who will remain annoymous-ha!) were soaking wet, there was about eight inches of water out of the tank, they were STANDING on the dresser by the tank, and the rocks were almost all out of the tank and THROWN all over the room...as in behind his dresser, behind his bed, in his bed, and EVERYWHERE ELSE! How did this happen you ask??? (so did I). My mom said the kids were in the playroom playing and she was with them. She stepped out to take a call for about 10-15 minutes and kept asking them if they were ok, in which Braeden would respond with yes, they were fine. She decided it was time to check on them and found them in the condition explained above.

When I got home everything was pretty much cleaned up.....meaning the tank was now in the kitchen, there was 2 fans on the carpet, the dresser was pulled out and there was a BUCKET of rocks that had been cleaned up. Braeden's clothes were in the bathroom and were still RINGING WET!!!! This didn't seem right to me. This was like 6 hours later. The next morning I asked Braeden if he and "the neighbor girl" :) had gotten IN the fist tank???? His response was.........................."just with my feet, my legs, and my arms"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

******on a side note, and not so funny.....I am so thankful. The light to the fish tank fell into the water and I am SO THANKFUL that no one was electricuted!!!******
