Never a Dull Moment

Well, a lot has gone on since the last time I blogged. Things of course are still VERY BUSY!!! However, I have been able to exhale a little. Guess what?!?!? I AM DONE WITH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Graduated with my masters of counseling...FINALLY!!!! I don't think I will believe it though until I get my diploma and see it for myself.

Work is still good. I changed offices and now am only about 6 minutes from home. That is nice and I am adjusting to the change...not a big change, just a change.

Christmas is approaching very quickly and I am EXCITED! Probably not as excited as Braeden. He asks every day I think when Santa is coming! He can't wait and it is fun watching and experiencing the holiday through his eyes. Today he told me "the holiday is over because the snow is gone". He can be so funny at times.

I know this update isn't very exciting and/or informative (kind of tired I guess), but let me tell you something that is exciting! If you don't listen to anything for the rest of this season, please listen (or read) this. Christmas is a time that is easy to get carried away with the presents and family and friends, and food, and shopping, etc. However, if it wasn't for the birth of my Lord Jesus Christ, there would be no CHRISTmas. I am so thankful for God's perfect plan of a savior, His only son, to come to earth and be born as a baby. God, whom loves us SO much that He sent His ONE AND ONLY son to earth as baby so that WHO SO EVER believes in Him shall not perish, but have ETERNAL life. See....after Christmas comes Easter. Without the birth there could not be the death on the cross and the resurection three days later! All just because He loves us so much that He wants to to spend eternity with Him some day. And all we have to do is choose Him and receive Him into our lives (believe, receive-pray for forgiveness of sins, and repent-turn away from those sin)!!!

I don't know about any of you, but I don't think I could give my ONE AND ONLY son over to death to save a bunch of people who are not even remotely grateful the majority of the time.....

Love ya,
~B~
