So today one of my co-workers was telling me how much my clients really like me and how my groups are usually in their list of favorites. But I figured out why they like me so much. It is because I genuinely care about each and every one of them. Being an addict isn't WHO they are. It is a circumstance that has happened in each of their lives...it is a desease. My job is moving me to work with the out-patient clients and I am sad to leave the group of girls I have now in the in-patient unit. I don't care much for out-patient, but whatever. I am going to miss those girls!! I probably won't be at this job long anyway and maybe this is just an easier way to leave than having to tell these girls that I am leaving. Who knows....we shall see.
