Am I getting OLD???

You know when I was younger (or maybe before I was a parent???) I REALLY loved being on the run ALL the time. I HATED (pretty much) being at home. Got bored quickly and did not like sitting still. Maybe it is because it seems like now, not so much by choice really, I am ALWAYS on the run. I really have a hard time with that these days. I am finding that I long for the days that I can get out of bed slowly and stay in pjs most of the day. Allow Braeden to lay around and play and watch movies and stay in comfy clothes. Clean up and make sure the house is clean and just R-E-L-A-X. I need to simplify. Does anyone else feel this way???? Good grief! I think during the week I feel like we are rushing to do everything. It seems like the things I actually WANT to do, I don't have time to do them. For example...(and this is how most days seem to go) we got up and went to the seamstress lady because Braeden got a suit for Christmas (like his papaw) to get it altered, went to visit my grandma, had lunch with my parents and by this time it was like 12:30. (we started at 9:15!!). I had planned on going to the mall and getting my eye brows done and shopping on the gift cards I got, etc. None of that got done. I also need to do the dishes and fold the laundry....and get a shower! LOL. By the time we got done with lunch it was nap time for Braeden. We came home. Tonight we are going to a movie. So.....I guess I will get to the mall if I EVER have time and right now I will try to use this time wisely and AT LEAST get the dishes done and laundry folded!! LORD HELP ME! :)

Oh, I hear ya sister, and I'm not a single mom. I can't imagine your load. I definitely think it's important to take time for yourself and rejuvenate occasionally. Maybe a sleepover at Grandma's, so you can have the evening off to do those things you WANT to do (and to wake up slowly)?
