My Grandma

If you all don't mind, I would like for you to keep my grandma in your prayers. She had a stroke Monday. She probably laid on her floor for 5-6 hours before I found her. Her friends had been trying to get a hold of her since 7pm because they were planning something for the next day and also they watch Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor together and talk about it over the phone. They called me at 10:30pm to see if she was with me because no one had been able to get a hold of her. I knew something was wrong because that wasn't like her to not answer the phone. My friend Kelly was here so she stayed with Braeden while I ran over to check on my grandma. I was scared to death of what I would find. I drove by first (because I am a big chicken) and her lights were on in her house and the blinds were pulled, which is normal. I turned back around and went back and pulled in the drive way. I honked several times to see if I could get her to come to the window. She never did. I went up and knocked on the door and she never came. I stood on my tiptoes to look through the window and she wasn't on the couch where she would normally be sitting, but her tv was on. At this point I called my mom and she came over with the garage door opener. We opened the garage door, but the door between the garage and the house was locked. I yelled at her to come to the door and knocked, but she never came. My mom then went around to the front of the house and stood on something and looked in the same window I looked in. She said "OH MY GOSH BRANDI! SHE IS ON THE GROUND!!!" By this time my mom had found a key to the door and said lets go in. I thought she was dead so I said I wasn't going in and I called 911. My mom got back up on the planter thing and looked in the window again and said she was moving, so we ended up going in. The paramedics cleaned her up and took her to Community South were they determined she had had a stroke and transferred her by ambulance to Methodist. Tonight I went to see her again and she is on a breathing tube and sleeping all day long. She has a brain bleed and her brain is swollen from the stroke and from falling. She also has a feeding tube. We are just waiting now to see what will happen. Please keep her and our family in your prayers. Thanks.
